Hipe IP has been selected for the 2025 TIPS Global Track organized by the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Hipe IP is conducting research on the 5G/6G Cross-domain Observability Engineering Orchestrator standard and core technologies. This technology enables integrated observation of networks and system states distributed across different domains, facilitating more efficient operations and control.
Through the TIPS Global Track, we plan to focus on implementing standardizable architectures that can technically solve complex telecom and cloud operational challenges. Our approach has been recognized as differentiated, aiming beyond simple operational solutions toward a globally applicable technology framework.
Notably, we are conducting research with a structure that considers international standards and patent strategies simultaneously from the technology development stage, enabling future utilization by various industry players including global carriers, equipment vendors, and cloud companies. This strategy broadens the scope of technology utilization while simultaneously increasing the potential for business expansion through IP licensing.
The research being pursued by Hipe IP has been approved as a New Work Item (NWI) at ITU-T SG13 (Future Networks and Cloud Standardization Group), officially recognizing its potential for international standardization. This means the technology has entered the discussion stage for development into a global standard, and the possibility of securing standard-essential patents (SEPs) is becoming tangible.
With this TIPS Global Track selection, Hipe IP aims to leap forward as a global technology company centered on IP licensing and standard-essential patents.
